The "Bottwartal HalbMarathon" features a north half marathon and a south half marathon course. Both courses are starting at the Bottwartal-Winery in Großbottwar (30 kilometers away from Stuttgart). The courses follow the little river Bottwar and pass through a lovely landscape with wineyards and little towns. The finish of both races also is at the Bottwartal-Winery. The difference between the highest point and the lowest point is about 40 meters.
