Kilkenny (Ireland) - "Medieval Marathon". Kilkenny provides the historic backdrop for Ireland’s 9th Medieval Marathon. Participants will set off from Abbey Quarter for the Marathon, 30K, and Half Marathon, and the 10K. The route will take in some of the most historic sites in the medieval city before winding out the country roads, making its way back to Kilkenny to finish in The Water Barracks. Dublin (Ireland) - "Dublin Half Marathon". The Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon route takes runners through the breathtaking surroundings of Phoenix Park, Europe’s largest enclosed public park, offering a memorable 13.1-mile course in the heart of Dublin.
