Morgan, Utah (United States of America) - "East Canyon Marathon". The East Canyon Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. The Full Marathon starts overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon and heads East. This course follows along pine trees, aspens and follows several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir. The Full joins Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathons starts and then heads down Red Rock Canyon which has great views and landscapes and unique rock formations. Around Mile 20 of the race the course turns into farmland with beautiful fields of grain and cool barns. Syracuse, Utah (United States of America) - "Antelope Island Marathon". The Antelope Island Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. All the distances are on Antelope Island. Antelope Island is home to 600 bison and the largest island on the Great Salt Lake. This course is a true marathon in that it is not all downhill like many. There are several rollers for the runners. This race purpose is to get runners out of the cold and into the warmth of Southern Utah in the St. George/Santa Clara Area. Though the courses are primarily downhill over the distance there are some rollers and a few climbs.
