Truckee, California (United States of America) - "Truckee Half Marathon and 5K". The Ninth Annual Truckee Half Marathon and 5K begins and finishes in Historic Downtown Truckee, offering runners a scenic mountain race experience that highlights the diverse beauty of the Sierra Nevada. Participants can choose between the Truckee Half Marathon or the Truckee 5K, with both courses providing a unique way to experience Truckee's trails, lakes, and mountain-town charm. The Truckee Half Marathon course showcases the majestic and varied landscapes surrounding Truckee. Starting in Historic Downtown, runners head west and circumnavigate Donner Lake before returning toward town. Around the 11-mile mark, runners face the most challenging climb of the course on Northwoods Boulevard, followed by a fast downhill finish along the Trout Creek Trail. The full course distance is approximately 13.65 miles. The Truckee 5K follows the scenic Trout Creek Trail on an out-and-back route, offering a shorter option that still captures the beauty of Truckee's trail system. San Diego, California (United States of America) - "America's Finest City Half Marathon". America's Finest City Half Marathon is one of San Diego's fastest and most scenic half marathons. The 49th annual event will run from the Cabrillo National Monument atop the tip of Point Loma, along San Diego Bay, Harbor Island, Embarcadero, past the Star of India, through downtown San Diego to an unforgettable finish in historic Balboa Park. America's Finest City Half Marathon and 5K is a part of In Motion Events' SoCal Triple Crown race series, which also includes the Carlsbad Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K in January, and the GOVX San Diego Half Marathon and 5K in March. This trio offers a variety of courses and scenery throughout San Diego, providing athletes with a fun and unique running experience in distinct parts of the city and county. Athletes who participate in each race in the same calendar year, no matter the distance they participate in, will be awarded a SoCal Triple Crown medal to celebrate their accomplishment of completing the race ser ies. Runners simply register for all three events separately. No additional registration or fee is required to qualify for the SoCal Triple Crown finisher award! We offer a 10% military discount to active duty service members. Make sure to answer the questions about military service during registration to receive the discount instructions. Benefiting the Community Since its inception in 1978, the America's Finest City Half Marathon has helped raise important funds for national and local non-profit organizations. Malibu + United States, California (United States of America) - "Malibu Moves". Malibu Moves returns to Zuma Beach for its third year on October 24 and 25, 2026. The only race in Malibu, this two-day running festival brings together runners of every pace, age, and experience level for a weekend on the Pacific Coast. Saturday features the Expo, Kids Zone, 1-Mile Zuma Dash, and 1K Kids Run. Sunday is race day for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, followed by a post-race festival with food, music, wellness activations, and community celebration. The course runs along Pacific Coast Highway with the ocean on one side and the Santa Monica Mountains on the other. The Half Marathon is USATF-measured with chip timing and pace groups for runners training toward a specific finish. All registrations include a finisher medal, event shirt and goodie bag, timing chip, post-race snacks, and festival access. Malibu Moves also offers a Charity Entry program.
