Dayton, Ohio (United States of America) - "Air Force Marathon". The Air Force Marathon is an annual endurance event held the third Saturday of September at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. First held in 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United States Air Force, the 30th Annual Air Force Marathon will be held Saturday, September 19th, 2026. Race weekend features multiple event distances; marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, 1K kids' race, 3-person marathon relay, and two challenge series where runners can earn a fourth medal after completing the 5K, 10K, and half marathon or marathon in just two days. Other exciting events include the Health & Fitness Expo, Gourmet Pasta Dinner, and Finish Line Festival. For those not able to travel to Ohio, a virtual race is another option offered.
